NOVFA Fire School 2023

With today’s modern fire behavior, fires are burning hotter and faster than ever.  The discussion of having an adequate amount of GPM is a topic in the fire service that all department members should be aware of.  This class will discuss the history of fireground flows, discuss departments current target fireground flow and how to properly flow this with the equipment they currently have.  A hands-on demonstration will also be provided to show how flow & pressure data can be obtained to make your fire department better.  Class A foam and its application will also be discussed to show how this can improve your fire department’s tactics
